Sigma 28 to 200 with K20d, Missouri Botanical Garden
Saturday I wanted to get out a little.
It had been some time since I last used my Pentax K20d, so I looked around for an interesting lens to couple to it.
In a camera bag I discovered a lens I forgot I had, a Sigma 28 to 200mm Aspherical Zoom, f/3.5, with Pentax KA mount, auto focus.
I set out for the Missouri Botanical Garden and found an easy parking space, it was late enough in the day.
Weather was hot and mostly sunny, with a little light breeze.
How did the camera and lens do?
Well, I still had the body set with an extra stop of exposure dialed in, the 18 - 55mm lens liked it that way. But with the big Sigma, most frames were overexposed.
Images off the card were also mostly a bit soft. Don't know yet whether that was because of lens, or body sensor, or me.
I pulled out the images I liked best and did my best to salvage them in software.
Results ended up okay.
