Samoca LE-II in late October Woods

The Samoca LE-II is a fairly well made camera dating to circa 1960. It features rangefinder focusing, a very quiet shutter from 1 second to 1/300, a reasonably fast lens, and a built in uncoupled exposure meter with calculator.
I acquired this one at a flea market at the north end of Lake Chautauqua, New York, in the early 1990s.
And I have used it at least twice since then.

We are having a weird Fall season here in Eastern Missouri. It is well into November, and trees mostly either lost their leaves without good color change, or they are still hanging on with a dull green look. Must have been the weather, with record high temperatures recently in the upper 80's.

On the last Sunday of October I loaded the Samoca with a roll of Fuji 200 print film and visited some local spots. I started at Pleasant Valley Nature Preserve in High Ridge, which was a Girl Scout camp (Camp Hi-Di-Ho) at one time, then got on the highway for a couple of miles and finished the roll at Rockford Beach on Big River.

Images came back a bit soft in the scans. I do not know why. So I tried re-scanning with my own Epson. They were still soft.
Most saw improvement with software tools.
