Red Pentax Powder Valley

March 14, 2018 in St. Louis...
Today was a nice day despite the cold.
We went over to Powder Valley in Kirkwood.
After stopping by the visitors center I left Joyce by the observation windows and went out to walk the Tanglevine Trail with the red Pentax K-x digital.

This camera has a flaky setting dial, it was easier to leave it at f/8 in Aperture Priority mode and so I did.
F/8 and Be There as they say.
This was all hand held and available light.

Love the egret in flight - 1983. They are great to watch taking off and landing.

Great photos. I was getting used to the bucolic scenes of nature, then >wham< that red camera. I had to get out my dark glasses. It looks classy. Something the Fire Chief would use. Thanks, Ed.

I especially enjoyed the vines wrapping around the trees. Weird and wonderful. I live in a small town away from most everything, I guess, because I have never seen a red camera like that. I am amazed... Thank you Ed

1999 and 2010, remind me of double S and very good use of subject leading off or leading in but 1999 reminds me of porta potty. Great shots with that camera. Thanks Ed.
