On my way to the Midsummer Arts Faire, Quincy, Illinois, June 2006.
Shots are from Eolia, Missouri;
New London, Missouri;
Hannibal, Missouri;
and Quincy, Illinois.
The River is the Mississippi.
I was switching back and forth between a pocket-sized Olympus Infinity Stylus and a Pentax MV body with a Ricoh f:1.4/50mm lens mounted.
Film was Konica Minolta VX200.
No flash was used, all are available light shots.

Loved your towboat photograph, and the one of the bridge! I have, but lost, a nearly identical one from a houseboat trip thru your area, so I'll put this one in my photo album instead. It's better anyway :)

I really like Dusk 3 and Tristate has a very nice juxtaposition between the Old 1871 Lesem Building and the new style suspension bridge. The Idea of a "Hannibal Cafe" could be unnerving, I'm glad they called it "Steamboat Cafe". Nice Church in New London Church 1 sorry to see it's for sale, but we have a lot of that around here too... Thanks for sharing.

Moving, Ed, really moving. The past/present composition/juxtaposition of Quincy dusk 1 is powerful, the framing effectively draws the viewer into tomorrow, and the lighting is dramatic; a perfect shot.
