Well, here it is, August.
Like many photo adventures this strange year, this one begins and ends right here at home.
First few shots were in our Elf Garden.
We got in the car and drove to Powder Valley in Kirkwood to walk the short trail. It was hot and humid, and a little too crowded for me.
I had not been there since before the you know what, and was not prepared to find that the Visitor's Center building is closed as they make adaptations. All the restrooms were also closed. So it was a short adventure, and the Argus Model A film camera I was also carrying got just a little use.
Camera for most of these was a Pentax K110 D digital with 18 - 55 lens. After many rolls of film recently developed with Caffenol, I thought I would throw a little more range of color into the galleries.
The moth was on our kitchen screen door after dinner, captured with a Pentax K10 D and Tamron 28 - 105 lens.
