Final Days at Pevely

The Big Pevely Flea Market is soon closing down forever. Final weekend will be October 29 and 30, 2011.
They are being shut down for economic reasons, after a history spanning more than a generation.
I made a visit Sunday October 16.
Below are a few images from my little Olympus 1010 digital camera.
The Merry-Go-Round is for sale.
I also shot a roll of film with an old family heirloom camera, on 120 film in 6 x 9 cm format. Those images are pending.

Well, every time you have a funnel cake, you can think of Pevely. Hope someone steps in to fill the void insofar as possible.

What a loss that would be. I hope someone will come forward at the last minute and
give it new life. Fine photographs of the carousel.
