I shot a test roll of film, Konica Minolta VX 200 print film... I had three pieces of equipment to field test:
a) Sears / Ricoh KS Super SLR body (Pentax K mount), recently acquired. I cleaned it, bench tested it, and replaced some door foam, and wanted to check the performance.
b) A nice compact little lens, f:1.9 / 50mm, Pentax K mount, bearing the brand name "Exacta."
c) A fast Sears / Ricoh f:1.4 / 50mm lens, also P/K mount. I had used it earlier in the year, and was bothered with considerable light flare, see examples in:

Reexamining the lens, I recently came to the conclusion that the source of the flare was the shiny black plastic and stark white lettering on the circular area around the front glass, it was apparently reflecting off the backside of the UV filter and clouding the light path.... this session, I tried it without a filter.
With our Fall color near PEAK, or beyond, and with Halloween season, I had subject matter available.
In the tweaking of the files, colors were so dramatic out there that it was difficult to get a believable sky color while striving to present the true color of the trees.
All three equipment items performed fine, I think.
