Number 5 Bulb

For some day when you do have the urge to pop off a No. 5 or Press 25 bulb or 2, there is this:
The power of the light output is amazing, and with a reasonably fast film, a single bulb can light up an area the size of a baseball field.
Attached, a photo I shot on Argust Day 2002, August 2, with an Argus M-21 and a Number 5 or 25 bulb, shortly after midnight. That is the Tarentum high level bridge over the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania, from the river bank. The river at that point is over 1,000 feet wide, and that second pier is maybe over 400 feet away. For scale, look at the service ladder going up from the first pier on the left.
Attached, scanned with a primitive scanner in 2002 from the paper print.
Thanks,
Ed Kowalski
