Not the Park

My plan yesterday was to go to the park. It just didn't happen.
To make up for it I took a little time to explore back yard and front yard with a Pentax K100 D, looking for flora and some fauna.
Home is somewhat smaller a space than a park, so I scaled down my subjects.

All the rain seems to have brought out all kinds of mushrooms!!! These pictures are a good reminder that one doesn't have to travel far to find beauty.

Tomatoes look pretty and colorful. Almost time to pick and enjoy. Your cool backyard fungi are the most interesting I've seen.
