A Spring visit to my old hometown...
The alley between Pine Street and Spruce Street where I played when I was a kid, seen a half century later...
The tracks, near rails for local steel mill use, far rails for PRR mainline...
River Avenue, with Blue Ribbon Beverage bottling plant and the remains of the old Roxie Theater...
The Allegheny River with Lock & Dam No. 4, a bit rough from recent Spring rains.

The way I remember it "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" was playing the Roxy when it burned. Posters outside said that "The Vikings" were coming.

Good to see so much of Old Natrona can still be seen. Hope they can preserve as much as possible for the generations a-comin'.

I just saw "The Robe" movie on TV starring Richard Burton. I remember going to see that movie at Roxy with St. Ladislaus schoolmates. Then the building was on fire on April fool's day in 1957 - I remember the day correctly but am not sure of the year.
