I had another Sears Ricoh KS Super SLR body to test, wanting to see if my new foam seals would do the job.
So we headed to the St. Louis Zoo yesterday.
Weather has been outrageously warm for January.
The day dawned very cloudy, however, and it stayed that way.
Film was Konica Minolta Centuria ASA 200 print film.
Lens was mostly a Sears / Ricoh f:1.4 / 50 mm, except for a 135 mm for the polar bear shots.
Regarding the Malayan Sun Bear: he tied all those knots in the rope HIMSELF, by his own creative endeavors. We watched for a while as he practiced his techniques.
I know some of the reptile shots are a bit soft, particularly the turtles. I was shooting handheld through glass in a dark building, and had a bit of camera shake in a few, with the long exposures... but I still liked the bands of color in the turtle shot.
