The weather is beautiful this last weekend of April, and today people showed up in droves to walk and enjoy the Spring blooms in the Missouri Botanical Garden, St. Louis.

I was there, testing out another Pentax ist D digital body that I just received in the mail this week.

I made some adjustments in the settings and it paid of, making it a little easier for final preparations to share the images.
However, the camera acted cranky in Auto Focus mode when shooting closeups, and I switched over to Manual Focus for much of the work.
All is hand held with available light.
