The Minolta Dimage Z1 is a "mid-sized" digital camera, smaller and much lighter than an SLR, but larger than any pocket digital camera.
It has a fast lens, f:2.8, in a zoom range from 38 mm to 380 mm equivalent.
It uses 4 AA batteries and SD memory cards.
I find it quite capable for a mere 3 megapixel camera.
This one was found cheap at a thrift store, a bit battered on the outside, but good on the inside.

I took it for a walk today at the Claire Gempp Davidson Memorial Conservation Area on Sappington.
What a weird weather day for early March. It got quite warm. Those turtles and frogs should be having their winter sleep, not out in the open!
