Maxxum 7 in Cedar Hill 102613

This camera was probably my late brother in law's favorite camera. He wanted me to have it.
The Maxxum 7 was ground breaking when it was first introduced. In layout, features, and feel, think contemporary higher-end Digital SLR... except that the Maxxum 7 loads with 35mm film, not memory cards.

Today I loaded it with a roll of Kodak 200 and drove out to Cedar Hill, on Big River. River is way down, it has been very dry last few months. The dam at the old grist mill continues to deteriorate. The top layer of concrete seems undermined, I could feel it shift under my weight. The mill building itself has a questionable future.

Color in the foliage today was spotty, bursts of red and orange here and there, but much is still green.
