Marcus Hook and Delaware River

Marcus Hook is a small city in southeast Pennsylvania between Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. It is the last town on the river before the Delaware state border.

I was told that Blackbeard the Pirate once owned a home in town. We drove around but could not find it.

There is a nice little park full of squirrels and geese and great views of a couple of oil refineries, and of New Jersey across the waters of the Delaware.

These were captured with my Pentax K100D digital body.
