Friday September 8 was Zoo Parents Day at St. Louis Zoo with special hours for adoptive parents to visit their favorite animal of the year. Day did not go as planned for us and we missed the chance to go that evening.
To make up for it we decided to make a visit midday on Saturday. Our goal was to find the Ring Tailed Lemurs.
With great weather Zoo was exceptional crowded, but we really lucked out and found a handicap space open on the street directly across from North Entrance.
We walked a fairly direct route to the Primate House, where we found our adopted animal. I think he was waiting for us.
Camera was a Pentax K110 D with broken manual focus. But the auto focus worked very well.
St Louis zoo must be one of the best in the country!!!

Really nice closeups of the lemur! He seems to be turning away from you. I like the pelican, alligator and turtle as well. Was Frankenstein visiting, too? You did a lot of walking. Temperature was comfortable.
