Kid's Digital Camera

We brought this one home today from Goodwill for $3.00

It has little or no ID on the camera body, but here are some of the features and specs:

Soft plastic pink end pieces make it easy to hold and nearly indestructible.
Powered by 4 x AA batteries.
Power button, mode button, digital zoom button, delete button, left and right scroll buttons, shutter release button.
Can use either optical viewer or rear screen (actually quite bright indoors or out).
No removable memory card, but does have 16 MB internal image memory, good for about 100 images.
Port for USB cord to hook to computer.

After I captured about 2 dozen images, I found I had a USB cord from HP that actually fit the socket on the camera, and when I hooked it up, the camera lit up, and my Windows 7 actually found drivers to directly access the camera's stored memory.

The results? image files 640 x 480 pixels, about 0.3 megapixel. Better in quality than I expected, not for serious work, but I am sure that some kids would have fun with this.

Thanks! Ed
