Pentax K1000 SE with Caffenol, Holidays

This was my first quality SLR, purchased new circa 1981. It was stored in a camera bag for about 15 years untouched, and I thought I would bring it out for a little run.
Everything checked out perfectly, exposure meter still accurate, except that the aperture ring on the original f:2.0/50mm lens was a bit stiff. So I swapped it out with a good f:1.7 lens of the same vintage.

A roll of that Fuji 200 film from that big lot I won in auction went into the camera, with the intent of rating the film at ASA 100 for safety. I am mostly staying close to home these days and I exposed the roll around the house.

The exposed film was treated to my tried and true recipe for Caffenol developing.
When the filmstrip came out of the salt fixer, it was disappointing, images very weak and hard to distinguish. My best efforts went into scanning and tweaking. The camera is a good one, my recipe was good, so the trouble must be with the film itself. Either it was degraded, or Fujifilm does not like Caffenol as much as Kodak.

The little guy in the images is showing off a few cameras from my own collection. How many of these models are you familiar with?
