Too bad about the spanner Ed, but surprisingly good image quality.
Reminds me of a vintage 15mm full-frame Nikkor I bought at a flea market once. It apparently had been dropped, forcing the huge/heavy front element back, crunching the next couple elements. It actually took good picture except for a small greyed-out fuzzy area right in the middle of the frame.
