Thanks for the opportunity to view these Ed, we have been watching the progress of the flooding in parts of USA. We are having the same in Australia with mixed flooding at record levels and dry in other parts of our continent, all said to be compliments of the slow El Nino altering weather patterns. Hope everyone kept safe as such events do cause real loss to those in the path of course a good levee that holds probably puts pressure on other less well maintained levees, that break and flood, flooding rivers are a huge demonstration of the power of nature to have its way whatever puny man thinks it can control and restrict - floods will sweep all out of its way - Like the lesson of your photographs - very graphic.
