The green iguana was back yesterday.
They are not native to any place where the temperature drops below 50. They cannot survive cold.
So she was either "dumped" or escaped.
She is skiddish, so I shot these images through my studio sliding door (door closed).
I had to shoot through heavy double pane glass, and the sliding screen door mesh as well.
Glass and mesh were "out of focus," so I was able to clean out that visual haze in software.
Camera was Pentax *ist body.
First shot was with the 18 - 55 zoom lens, at 55mm.
Other shots are cropped out of frames using a vintage 135mm f/2.8 manual set aperture T-Mount lens.
Whenever approached, she (the iguana) heads for the brush and trees behind our yard.
It would be impossible to catch her back there, it is very rough terrain.
Ed, that is a very intersting story. Several years ago my step-son and his family in Chicago had two very large iguanas in a cage about 6 feet long. They were so big they were scary.
