This is our local major highway.
Northwest Jefferson County, east central Missouri.
Yesterday colors were very near peak, here in my neighborhood. Color was strongest on the ridgetops. All images were within 3 miles of home. I parked the car at our public library, then walked over a mile of road shoulder, then back.
Camera was a Nikon Zoom Touch 400, with asa 400 (store generic) print film. All functions are automatic, except for aiming. Quality was a notch lower than most of my older manually operated cameras, but it was an easy carry.
Wow, what a show of color. Magnificent...must be the photographer.

Boy, Missouri gets some serious color! We get 15 minutes of yellow in Colorado, though the aspen can be beautiful among the pines, if you catch them. Thanks for the gorgeous seasonal treat.

Aren't we lucky to live in such a fantastically beautifully area. You do a great job of recording what we have.
