Halloween Woods with Pentax

The Halloween Woods were not so scary for us this year.
The weather was beautiful at midday, and we went walking at Pleasant Valley nature preserve here in High Ridge.
Funny name, because the park is mostly not in a valley, but up on a ridge.
I was surprised to find so much color out there.
This Pentax SMC older manual focus prime 28mm lens is becoming a favorite, so sharp, and a good match for this K110 D digital body.

Trees are so colorful! Sky so blue with sun! Even the mold looks pretty. It's dark, cold, and gloomy here. Wish I was there!
