Halina 35X with Caffenol, Fathers Day

This little camera, a name variant of the Micronta 35X, mas made by Haking of Hong Kong in 1959. Unusually small for a 35mm, it is surprisingly heavy, with a lot of chrome like an old Buick. Personally, I find it strangely likable.

On Fathers Day I loaded it up with a roll of Fujicolor 200 and went to enjoy the miniature train ride and a one day car cruise at the National Museum of Transportation. The Ford Falcon has special interest for me, since I had unlimited use of the same model while working in Chautauqua County, NY, the summer of 1968.

Film was developed by me at home with my recipe for Caffenol processing, using common safe household ingredients for the chemistry.
