Last Saturday when I was out testing the Argus C4R that I had just repaired, after the film ran out in the Argus, I pulled out my little pocket sized Olympus Stylus 1010 digital camera to take a few extra captures.
What you see are remnants of the grist mill that once stood on Big River in Jefferson County, Missouri, near Lower Byrnesmill Road in the Byrnesmill City Park.
Once upon a time there were 5 grist mills with dams along this stretch of lower Big River. This one was the furthest downstream, getting near to the confluence with the Meramec.
Pretty nice day here for early January.
