Some people refer to the Graphic 35 of 1955 from Graflex as the continuation of the Ciro 35 of 1950 (a Graflex model that was made from dies purchased from Ciro Cameras Inc. of Delaware, Ohio, who made the Ciro 35 of 1949; this earlier Ciro 35 is a remake of the Cee-Ay 35 of Camera Corp of America).

However, I see more differences than similarities in the Graphic 35.
Instead of the American made lens and shutter of the Cee-Ay and the Ciro, the Graphic 35's Graflar f:2.8 / 50mm lens is German made, and mounted in a German Prontor-SVS shutter.
The exposure release is on the front of the body rather than on the barrel, and the unique push-button focus is a real departure in design.
And the body, despite superficial resemblance, is made from a completely different set of castings, and a bit larger in size.

Anyway, I took mine out for a spin on Sunday, March 11.
Loaded it up with a roll of Konica Minolta ASA 200 print film, and went to Forest Park in St.Louis.
Visited the Jewel Box Conservatory, the area in front of the Art Museum, and the Zoo.
Subjectivly, I think the Graphic 35 pictures have their own "look" and "flavor"... sharp, but cool and direct in their rendition.
