Day before Valentines Day.
Nice weather, so we took a walk through the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis.
Camera: Pentax *ist D digital SLR with the 18 - 55 mm zoom.
I left the ASA setting at 400 and shot AV mode, switching the aperture around mostly between 5.6, 8, and 11, to try different results with DOF.
The *ist D body has no DOF preview feature.

Mid February, yet some plants were in bloom. I was a little amazed to see an active colony of European Honey Bees working the blossoms.
