This camera was a five dollar find at a thrift store, and included lithium battery and 8 Gig SD memory card.
It is tiny, weight about like a hummingbird.
5 X optical zoom, 12 megapixel stills, and captures video with sound. At about a megabyte per second, the 8 gig card should be able to store at least a two hour movie!

I was thinking this might be a good carry around camera. Yesterday was practically summer like (this is February???) and I carried it into Fenton with me to the Meramec River Greenway in Old Town Fenton, to give it a fair test.

Well, not as good as I hoped... the camera does not always render color well, the image quality a little disappointing in many situations. And since it has such low mass, holding it steady for a shot is very difficult.
I did finally work out a technique, remembering what the instructions for the prewar Argus Model A suggested. The trick is to hold the camera against your forehead to steady it. The Fuji has no regular viewfinder, but I was able to just make out the composition on the screen with camera an inch or two away from my eyes.
Using a tripod would defeat the intention of having a "carry around" camera.
So, with the issue, I was able to salvage these 15 captures from a series of 60.
Most of them demanded tweaking afterward to pull out enough image quality.
