Fathers Day 2014 with Pentax K100 D and Prime Lenses

I acquired this digital body recently at a good price, knowing that the autofocus is not functioning. No big deal for me, since the focus confirmation indicators still work.
After cleanup, I wanted to put it to the test with a couple of prime length manual focus lenses.

Fathers Day dawned with a bit of rain, then turned partly sunny / partly cloudy and warm.
The mushrooms are in my backyard.
From there I headed to the Museum of Transportation, and found out that admission was free for the holiday, and they were also hosting their annual open car show on the front parking lot.

Mushrooms were captured with the SMC-A 50mm lens, hand held.
All images at the Museum were captured using the Vivitar 28mm lens, hand held and with available light.

Compensation had to be dialed into the camera body in order for the Vivitar lens to properly expose. And I think it is a little soft in focus at infinity. But otherwise, it seems adequate.
