Downtown Night

It was a brutal night in downtown St. Louis.
Conditions on the streets were Arctic and unforgiving for the unprepared.
We were there for a wedding reception at that classy big hotel at the corner of Broadway and Market.
I was carrying light and candid, just my little pocket sized Olympus Stylus 1010 digital, no accessories.
These images were shot through the thick plate glass windows of the ground floor and the second floor ballroom level. Since I had nothing but the little camera with me, I tried to work with the internal reflections.
For those who do not know, that is the Old Courthouse, with the dome. It is now a museum building, and the site of the well known Dredd Scott Decision in the Antebellum days.
The big curved thing behind it is the Gateway Arch, welded stainless steel thrusting nearly 700 feet into the cold night sky.
