December One

It was the first day of December in the St. Louis area, but some might have found it hard to believe. The skies were clear blue and the temperature rose to near 70 F.
While my daughter endured the dentist chair in Crestwood I took a little walk about nearby Claire Gempp Davidson conservation area. Hardwood trees were trying hard to hang on to their golden leaves although winter cannot be far off.
My camera today was a Pentax ist D L with TAKUMAR-F ZOOM f/3.5-4.5 28-80 MACRO lens.

It really was a gorgeous day there. Even the turtle was out sunning itself. I am always amazed at how you make fungi look photogenic!
