Carondelet Park is the third largest park within the City of St. Louis.
Although I have lived in the area for more than 40 years, it is a park I had never seen.
So Sunday after my walk through the St. Louis Zoo it was still early, and I headed south driving through the city to look for the park. I went through neighborhood streets rather than highway, a distance of some 6 or 7 miles.
Carondelet Park surprised me. It was more wooded than I expected, and hilly, with interesting variety of terrain.
The progression of Fall color changes is still proceeding.

Camera was my Pentax *ist D digital body with 18 to 55 mm lens.
