Canon TL QL and Caffenol

The Canon TL QL is a rather solid 35mm SLR dating from 1968. The QL stands for "Quick Load," and the feature works surprisingly well.
The exposure metering on this example is now dead, but I was able to make use of a Gossen Pilot hand held meter.
The lens I used here is a generation or two newer.

I have a large lot of Fujicolor 200 won in auction through an ACG tele conference. First several rolls were disappointing for me with the Caffenol developing, very weak images.
This time I loaded a roll into the Canon TL QL and rated the film as ASA 50, deliberately overexposing all frames by 2 stops.
Then when developing with the Caffenol process, I mixed my ingredients into room temperature distilled water from the bottle, instead of cold winter tap water.
My efforts really paid off, and I got a decent strip of negatives, monochrome of course because of the Caffenol.

First location was Minni HaHa Park in Sunset Hills along the Meramec River.
Rest of the roll was shot at home, and I ended it by showing some more items from my camera collection.
