A few weeks ago I dropped a roll of Kodak color film into the Argus C-4R that I had modified with a Geiss lens mount conversion a couple of years ago.
After some home shots the early part of the roll was exposed in "Old Town" Fenton. Missouri.
Then back home I did a series of exposures with a small Vivitar electronic flash unit.
To finish it up on New Year's Eve I made a brief visit to the Churchyard at St. Martin's in High Ridge.
Film strip was developed here at home with my Caffenol process, using safe household ingredients for the chemistry.
Caffenol renders color film in monochrome... I add the sepia tone afterwards in software, because I like it.
There were some SNAFU's this time. After rewinding the film while removing the camera from the half case I had used to carry it, the rear door fell off as if the bottom latch had not been locked.
Then while trying to spool the film for developing inside my dark bag, the film did not want to load onto the spool. I had to rewind it into the cannister by feel, remove spool and film from the changing bag, and start over.
there was some light leakage during use because of the loose back, evident at the bottom of the images of the churches. But damage was not fatal.
