Backyard Birds with Pentax K10D May 17, 2020

Yesterday the tufted titmouses who lease the little condo in my backyard were busy flying in and out feeding their young, safely hidden away inside.
They are used to me and trust me, and I was within a dozen feet or so away with a Pentax K10D digital body fitted with a Tamron 28 - 105mm lens.
These shots were all handheld.
The K10D can deliver nice images, but typically the sensor seems to be a little soft looking, even with tripod or antishake engaged.

These are beautiful shots! You know I love my birds.Chipmunk is so cute! You are a lucky owner of apartments for the wonderful creatures.

When we lived in St. Louis we had a neighbor who had never seen a chipmunk and told me that she had seen a mutant mouse in our yard!

I like the chipmunk. There are many of them at our bird feeders daily.
