This is the one season we give two names. For me, it is a season that triggers a dichotomy of feelings and types of memories.
This year here in High Ridge we have had several months of serious drought and unusually warm conditions. Then quite suddenly, it got wet and very cold. As a result I do not anticipate really good foliage color, except in spots.
These images were captured without leaving home. And the last few in the gallery represent the end of this year's growing season for my cucumber plants.
Camera was a Pentax K10 D digital body and Tamron 28-105mm zoom lens.
