This year, August 23 was annual Argust Day. Photographers throughout the world captured images with some of their favorite Argus branded cameras.
I loaded a roll of Kodak 400 into an Argus CR-1 model SLR. Then I started shooting images at home in High Ridge, Missouri, moved on to "Murphy Flats" an old business district along old Gravois Road east of here, on to Old Town Fenton in the Meramec Valley, then home again.
The next day I developed the filmstrip myself with my normal Caffenol chemistry using safe household ingredients.
Caffenol renders all results in monochrome. I added the sepia tone in software.

I am posting a second gallery with color images captured with an old Argus digital, as backup to this set.
