Argus Day comes annually, a day in August when lovers of Argus cameras are urged to capture images and share them on a group website, http://www.arguscg.org/events/argusday/
This year Argus Day fell on Argust 15th.
I prepared 3 Argus cameras with some accessories, then started my day in my own backyard.
From there I drove over to the river access area on Big River at Rockford Beach. This was once the site of a grist mill. The mill structure came down in the 1960's. I got there on time to see members of the High Ridge Fire and Rescue Squad finish up from an exercise. Dam is showing new damage from recent high water volumes.
STL-1000 was loaded with a fresh roll of Fuji 200 film,
The A2B is postwar, late 1940's. I loaded it with a roll of outdated Kodak Gold 200 from my freezer.
Moonflowers only show their huge blossoms at night. This is how it looked after blooming in the daylight.
