This is about the nicest Argus Model C example that I have come across. It is earlier type without a cap for rangefinder adjustment (but not earliest, no f/s switch).
Body needed light cleaning and lubrication, lens needed a deep cleaning, but everything was functioning mechanically.

Saturday August 14 I loaded a roll of Fuji 200 and after exposing a few frames at home I made a short walking tour of Old Town Fenton.

Developing was with my normal Caffenol recipe, using safe ingredients from the local grocery store.
Scratches on the film were likely my fault. The Fuji emulsion is very soft when it first comes out of the tank before drying. Caffenol renders all film types in monochrome. I add the sepia tone at the end because I like it.

Camera performed nicely, with its prewar uncoated glass lens.
