I could not physically make it to Eden, North Carolina, for the Argus Collectors Group Gathering this year but I wanted to participate in the group film shoot.
So I rummaged around the studio for appropriate subject matter and loaded up a black bodied Argus STL-1000 with a roll of Kodak 400 color film.
Shooting with an SLR opened up possibilities for close focusing and macro shots. All frames were captured handheld and with available light (no flash).
I also did some macro work outdoors in our front flower gardens as well as indoors. The roll of film was finished off on Friday afternoon while ACG participants were paying a visit to Ron at the rehab center in Reidsville.
Saturday evening during the Gathering I dunked the filmstrip in my recipe for Caffenol developing, using safe household ingredients.
When the voting is done I will be posting remaining results of the 24 frames in this gallery
