Argus Autronic 35 at the Sculpture Park

This camera came relatively late in classic Argus camera history, hitting the market circa 1960.
It was at attempt at modernizing the Argus line, even clunkier in appearance than the C3 Brick, but with color and texture more reflective of the year.
The Compur shutter is much reliable than earlier Argus shutters. But the rangefinder and exposure system have proved to be much less so with age, and it is a difficult camera to do repairs.

This one cleaned up fairly nice, except that I accidentally knocked the small rangefinder front window out of its frame while cleaning... it was glued in from behind, held in by the glue (now old and brittle) alone.
Its rangefinder is off and the exposure meter dead, but despite the loss of those features, manual overrides for all functions can be done, as long as you know how to decode the strange values for shutter speed, aperture, and distance. I have the codes.

Film test was with Fuji 200 print film on Sunday October 9. I ran most of the roll at Laumeier Sculpture Park, then finished off the remaining frames at Claire Gempp Davidson conservation area.
Dwayne's Photo of Parsons, Kansas, developed the film and scanned the negatives to CD for me. I finished them off in my computer.
