Argus Model A sn 200252 in Autumn Woods

First of all, please keep in mind that this is an 80 year old camera.

It is from an uncommon limited variant partway through the production run featuring a shutter assembly which I believe
Argus originally intended for use in the legendary Model D camera. The Model D had a few prototypes built,
but it never went into regular production, possibly due to the outbreak of war in Europe
and the interruption of access to more parts from the Continent.

Specs for the shutter are as pictured below.
Like all prewar Model A variants, lens is of a simple three element construction, with uncoated glass.
Focus is limited to two positions, for "far" and for "close."

I cleaned it up inside and out and gave it a light lubrication where needed.
Then I took it for a spin, loaded with a roll of Kodak 200 color film, into the woods in High Ridge during the final weekend in October.

Quality of the results exceeded my expectations.
