Missouri Botanical Garden with Argus C44R and f:1.9 lens

Saturday the weather improved and the sun showed its bright face, so I just had to get out and try to shoot film with that elusive "Holiday Theme."
I loaded an Argus C44R (Serial Number 1739220237, mounting a fast f:1.9 / 50mm Cintagon lens Serial Number 1668484) with another roll of film, this time ASA 200, store name brand from Walgreens.
It was time for me to re-visit the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, to see what the remnants of last weekend's snow did to change the appearance of the Garden and present fresh photographic possibilities.
The lens performed quite well in consideration of damage to the coatings on both front and rear glass surfaces... just a touch of flare in some lighting conditions.

Very very nice. I did a lot of plein air painting in the garden this past year. I'm hoping to get those up on my website in the next several months.
