World Argosy C4 Test Roll

The World Argosy 3 camera has been misbehaving again.
Last weekend at the ACG Gathering photo competition it was leaving white smudgy marks on some of Wesley's favorite shots.
So I promised Wesley I would take the camera back to Missouri again to try to solve this.
I have taken it apart and studied it in detail, and have done various tweaks to it.
I am convinced it is NOT a light leak. Light leaks generally show as red on prints, and these marks we are talking about also do not extend into the sprocket areas at the edges of the negative strip.
An internal reflection seems most likely. But I have darkened suspicious areas in the chamber, and in bench testing, the camera seems to exhibit no more reflection than any other C4 example.
After working on it the last couple of days, I took it out onto the streets of House Springs and Kimmswick today (May 23, 2009) for a test run.
See results below, images with the "x" in the title demonstrate the sporadic problem we are talking about.
I think it might be a ghost.
