Although the ACG St. Louis gathering was "officially" over end of day Saturday July 9, Richard C. lingered on in St. Louis area through Tuesday.
Monday we started out hunting down a mysterious "bunker" deep in the woods of High Ridge. Inspection seemed to indicate that it is actually a long forgotten cystern of some sort.
From there we continued southwest and visited three of the old grist mill dam sites along Big River, two in current day Byrnesmill, and one in Cedar Hill.
