This was part 2 of my participation in our early summer project, seeking out images of deteriorating structures using Japanese made mechanically operated old school SLRs with 42 mm Screwmount or K Mount.

I loaded up one of my Argus STL1000 bodies with a roll of Walgreens ASA 200 print film.
There were several different models of camera designated with this name, imported from different manufacturers in Japan.
This example has the 42 mm Screwmount, a vertically running metal shutter (mechanically timed), and stop-down through the lens metering. It also has the front mounted style of speed control dial, and a film door latch set into a recess in the bottom plate.
Camera is of a nice size and feel, not especially light or heavy. It operated smoothly, except for a tendency to have the speed selector bumped by my fingers to a different setting when camera was rotated for vertical image orientations.
For this set, I mounted a Fujinon branded f:2.2 / 55mm lens in Screwmount.

Highways 61 and 67 are on a combined roadbed when they run through most of Jefferson County, Missouri. Before the time of the Interstates, this used to be one of the primary North-South roadways in the nation, following the Mississippi Valley. It is somewhat quieter now.
Highways M and MM cross our county East and West, connecting the river routes with Gravois Road.
