A week after hurricane Ike knocked our power out here in Houston TX, the Calvary arrived from Virginia in the form of work crews that cleared the lines of trees, repaired the lines, and then turned the juice on. Here are a few images of those guys at work.

There are lots of images of Ike's damage out there but far too few images of those that are following along in its wake repairing that damage. As I was taking these pictures some asked for this website address so as to get a glimpse of their time here in Houston.
