The Royal 22e Regiment took part in the battle of Vimy Ridge during WWI, where the Canadian Army was able to take the ridge in 3 days of fighting. They memorialize the actions of the unit here.

The regiment has participated in many conflicts since then, most recently in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
