Physalis

My wife collects here and there along the road plants.Last year growth was modest but this year they develop profusely.
This one produces flowers like Chinese lanterns.

They've a nice shape even before they go brown and begin sporting holes.

Names vary from place to place, but the common name for them here is in fact, Chinese Lanterns. Sure are pretty little things. So delicate looking!
