DUNKARDS CREEK 8.5"x11"

Due to the Marcelus Shale drilling, there was poison spilled into Dunkard Creek, near to where we live. Headed by Ann Payne, a group of about 60 artist in the area, got together to create a piece of art representing the loss of life in Dunkard creek. I was givin the Banded Darter to research. This piece shows a map of the creek with the human hand holding a dead fish. With the symbolism, I was suggesting man's responsibility for the death as well as his responsibility for the clean up.
